About us
The Youth Arts Festival, organised by the International Volkskulturkreis e.V., is a cultural event that aims to promote art and music. It includes choir, orchestra, dance and painting. The festival takes place mainly in Europe (Germany and Austria), but also in Asia (China and Japan) and the USA. The theme of the spring event is the International Youth Arts Festival, while the summer event is the World Youth Arts Festival.
The Art Changes the World
Since 2011, choruses, orchestras, dance groups and young painters from all over the world have gathered in Europe for music and art communication under the leadership of the famous conductor Jörg-Hannes Hahn. In 2016, Professor Hahn took the 57-member Stuttgart Bach Choir on a 10-day concert tour of cities such as Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai. Making friends through music has become a tradition of the festival. In the new year of 2017, the Junger Kammerchor Boeblingen again visited China for a week with a group of 20 members, and gave concerts in Hong Kong and Macao.
The success of musical communication depends greatly on the guidance of masters. Besides the master classes at the festival, we also invite German musicians to China every spring and autumn to teach young musicians.
The Youth Arts and Culture Festival, rich and colourful in content, is an artistic feast that leaves each participant with an unforgettable exotic musical experience.
